The Massage Therapy program at CTS Canadian Career College will provide you with both the fundamental and advanced massage therapy skills needed to become a successful massage therapist. Massage therapy helps relieve, pain, improve physical dysfunction and increases our overall well-being. You will learn the proper assessment tools and techniques to deal with a wide variety of conditions that involve lymph, muscle, nerve, fascia and joints of the body, as well as a wellness focus that maintains physical health, function and mobility.

Our Massage Therapy program offers a balanced combination of theory and practical application through lab experience, in-class lectures and demonstrations, on-site public clinic and outreach opportunities. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible to write the provincial certification examination with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).

Graduation Requirements

In order to successfully complete this program, students will be required to earn a minimum grade of 70% in all theory and practical courses, a minimum grade of 70% in each of the final theory and practical examinations, and complete 330 hours of faculty-supervised direct massage therapy to the public These will be completed in our in house Clinic as well as our Outreach opportunities.

CTS Canadian Career College’s Massage Therapy program in Sault Ste. Marie, North Bay and Barrie are accredited by the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation (CMTCA).

How can I handle the workload of all the classes?

The majority of our classes are offered in blocks. You start one class one day and work through that ONE class until finished. This way you aren’t juggling multiple projects and exams. We also offer class time for hands on practice and projects. We promote LEARNING BY DOING!
